This website shows only a TINY sampling of what we typically stock. We sell from our showroom floor so our mix is ever changing. We do not guarantee availability of any item. Many of our upholstered items are available by special order in hundreds of fabrics and our custom finish wood products are available in over sixty finishes.  Most special order items are available in as little as six to eight weeks.

Let’s Talk About Pearls

There are two types of pearls:  freshwater pearls and saltwater pearls.  Both types can be natural or cultured.   Pearls grow inside hinged-shell mollusks known as bivalves.  A grain of sand or a tiny parasite becomes an irritant inside the mollusk.  The mollusk reacts by surrounding it with layers of an iridescent substance known as nacre, the same mother-of-pearl material that coats the mollusk shell.  Layer after layer of nacre increase the size of the pearl.  The longer the mollusk lives, the larger the pearl grows.   A natural pearl forms…
